Physical Therapist

Jessika grew up being active outside and playing sports. In high school, she realized she wasn’t ready to leave the sports environment, so she pursued a career in athletic training and physical therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in athletic training in 2015 from the University of Evansville (Indiana), enjoying opportunities to support university sports and even professional sports during her time there. She continued in Evansville to obtain a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2018. She worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic near her hometown in Ohio until she moved to Utah in 2020 to work in professional soccer. At the same time, she began a manual physical therapy fellowship program through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, which she completed in 2023.

Jessika takes pride in being part of your overall path to wellness. She loves working with active individuals and using a more hands-on approach to get your muscles and joints moving better. Along with her manual skills, she also loves to engage with you as a person to understand your personal goals, whether it be returning to elite athletics or simply keeping up with your grandchildren. Jessika loves the broad utility of physical therapy for that reason and gets excited seeing your progress no matter the outcome you desire. She encourages all of her patients to come in early so she can help before harder realities like chronic pain management or surgery even need to be discussed. When not working, Jessika loves spending time with her amazing husband and beautiful little boy. They love traveling, being outside, hanging out with friends, trying new food, and going to sporting events.
